The Heart of Transparency
To walk in the world with this sense of transparency
is to realise that everything we touch, everything we love, is already becoming
something else. And yet, in its fleetingness, in its willingness to disappear, it
offers us a kind of intimacy, a deep and abiding presence. The heart of
transparency is the understanding that nothing is lost, that all things continue,
transformed into other forms, other expressions.
We find, then, in the fleeting nature of things, not loss but communion, not absence
but a larger presence. We are part of this transparency, this continuous unfolding
of life and matter, bound to everything that was and everything that will be. And in
that knowing, in that surrender to the transparency of things, we find our place in
the greater whole.
